MEETINGS

1. Every Saturday evening at 6:00 - 8:00 PM please join us for the open mike/story swap at The Boston Gourmet Coffeehouse in DeLand.

2. There will be a meeting of Sandcastle Storytellers, Inc. at Crane Lakes on the third Friday of each month at 2 PM in the Card Room. These dates are:  June 17, July 15, Aug 19, Sept. 16, Oct. 21, Nov. 18, and Dec. 16. Ray Gant will facilitate the meeting.

Directions: West 1 mile on Taylor Road from I-95.  Entrance on Right.  Crane Lakes is situated between I-95 and Tomoka Farms Road (Rte. 415) on the North side of the street. We are meeting in the card room.
 
Everyone must stop at the Gate House and directions will be given.  The Club House is less than one block from the Gate House on the same street.We hope many of you will be able to participate ...
 
3. Our regular performance at the Riviera will be on second Thursday of every other month at 6 PM. Upcoming dates are Sept 9, Oct 14, Nov 11 and Dec 9. If you would like to come and tell a story please contact Ray. We have moved the meeting to Thursday at 6 PM so that we will not be in competition with Bingo and other popular activities on the Riviera schedule. We are hoping to get a bigger audience. Those of you who have been to the Riviera know that they are a wonderful audience even when they are few in number! 
 
4. Sandcastle had their annual get-together/meeting on Sunday, February 20th at 2:30 PM at Zorba's Restaurant -155 South 17-92 in DeBary.

CLUB NEWS

Sandcastle has enjoyed participating in this Liar's contest over the past several years. A couple of our members have performed at the festival and a few Sandcastlers have won/placed in the competition. If you would like to participate this year, Ray has once again "offered" to make a DVD. Please let him know if you'd like to be included in the DVD. Send email to RayGant@aol.com (or click here) to send him an email.
